Introduction

防空型駆逐艦の主砲、その改良型です。
実効力のある艦隊防空能力を持つ「長10cm」と呼ばれた秋月型駆逐艦に採用された駆逐艦両用砲、そのif改修型です。
秋月型防空駆逐艦だけでなく、本砲運用を考慮して改装された改二駆逐艦でも実戦的性能を発揮、さらに94式高射装置と共に装備改修することで、和製防空システムに更新可能です。

This is an improved version of the main gun of an air defense destroyer.
This is a what-if modified version of the dual-purpose destroyer gun that was adopted by the Akizuki-class destroyers, known as the "Long 10 cm" gun, which had effective fleet air defense capabilities.
Not only can it be used on Akizuki-class air defense destroyers, but it can also be used on Kai Ni destroyers which have been refitted to operate with this gun, and by equipping it with the Type 94 anti-aircraft fire director, it can be upgraded into a Japanese air defense system.

Mechanics

Main Guns    are the main armament used by surface ships. Their main stats are the "firepower"   and "accuracy"  . They are notably required to trigger all Artillery Spotting attacks as well as some Night Cut-Ins, notably the "Double Attack" (DA).

  High-Angle Guns (sometimes "dual-purpose guns"), are anti-air focused guns, that can serve their main surface role, in addition to having extra   AA stats.

  • They are notably required in most AACI.
  • Is required for AACI n° 52.
  • Is essential for AACI n° 50 & 51.
