Fast battleship is an informal term for defining battleships with extra speed. There is no separate hull classification for "fast" or "slow" battleships, all battleships are classified as BB. Historically, most ww2-era battleships could be counted as "fast" battleships, however the game uses its own currently still unknown distinction between fast and slow battleships. A fast battleship, or sometimes incorrectly referred to as a battle-cruiser, is expected to be on par with battleships in terms of combat ability and armor while having the advantage of fast speed. In game, fast battleships are unable to equip AP Ammo and are treated differently for branching-rules. <br />

Unconfirmed rumors and speculations that equipping any oversized (41, 46 CM cannons) on fast BB reduces accuracy.<br />
