Fairies are common occurrences in Kancolle, usually representing the crew operations the various equipment or mechanics features in the game. They are present:

On all Equipment's CG, with at least one present, and sometimes more.
- Some pets may also follow them.
As NPC in some menus/design elements,
On many Items:
In the Gotland Minigame.

Additionally, all Abyssal planes may also be considered as fairies.
