Fairies are common occurrences in Kancolle, usually representing the crew operating the various equipment or mechanics features in the game, being "chibi" in style. They are present:
- On all Equipment's CG, with at least one present, and sometimes more.
- Some pets may also follow them.
- As NPC in several menus/design elements,
- On many Items:
- New Technology Aircraft Blueprint,
- Furniture Fairy,
- Headquarters Personnel,
- Reinforcement Expansion,
- Emergency Repair Personnel,
- Emergency Repair Goddess,
- Skilled Crew Member,
- Ne-Type Engine,
- Prototype Flight Deck Catapult,
- Night Skilled Crew Member,
- Latest Overseas Warship Technology,
- New Model Armament Material,
