* She was launched on the 24th of March 1928.
* Sunk by Royal Navy destroyers in the Strait of Malacca, on the 16th of May 1945.
* Wreck located on the 4th of March 2003 by MV ''Empress''; she sits upright in 67 m (220 ft) of water and is heavily damaged.
* In 2014 her wreck was heavily destroyed by illegal salvage.
