In a bid for good luck, Parks placed his Nendoroid of Gambier Bay inside the submersible DSSV Limiting factor in the hopes that this will help find the wreck (he did the same for USS Johnston in 2021); however, all the attempts have failed to locate Gambier Bay's wreck.
