Firepower, 
Torpedo, 
Anti-Air, and 
Armor stats can be increased using Modernization. In addition, Maruyu can be used to increase 
Luck, while DE can increase 
HP (Endurance), 
Anti-Submarine, and Luck stats.- Leveling gradually increase Anti-Submarine,
Evasion, and 
Line-of-Sight stats. Firepower, Torpedo, Anti-Air, and Armor stats also receive random bonuses with each level up, until their maximal values are reached. - Remodeling randomly reset Firepower, Torpedo, Anti-Air, and Armor stats.
- With Marriage HP is increased by a fixed value and Luck is increase by a random value from 3 to 6.
- Regular ship level cap is 99 while married ship level cap is 175.
