- ↑ "Sentaka" is short for "Suichuu Kousoku Sensuikan (Underwater High-speed Submarine). It refers to the I-201 class. The character for "kou" (高) can also be read as "taka".
- ↑ Her nickname is a combination of "fu" (two), "rei" (zero) and "i" (one). She cuts off the last "i" so it sounds like "Furei".
- ↑ Her design inspired JDS Oyashio (SS-511).
- ↑ The only guns she carried were 25mm single machine guns that had to be dismounted before diving.
- ↑ This line is shared with expedition selection, resource collection, instant repair and development.
