During the New Year Live 2025, C2 announced that they are collaborating with AVEX, ClubEX, and Kadokawa for a KanColle Stage Play using the theme of Operation Rei Go. In the lead up to the Spring 2025 Event and the stage play various information were revealed. Also many hints were given on how the play can be used as a reference for what to expect for the Extra Operations of the KanColle Spring 2025 Event.

It is highly suggested to reserve the Kanmusu who appeared in the stage play as well as the historical ships that took part in the shelling of San Jose during the historic Operation Rei Go for the locks of the Extra Operations Maps.
Although they, Kashi, USS Boise, & USS Louisville, made their debut in the stage play they have not made their official debut in the game yet.
