* Her KanColle counterpart is the official mascot of the JS Teruzuki and is often seen in many live KC x JMSDF events.
* Her wreck was found on July 10, 2025, she was found after the E/V Nautilus surveyed USS Walke. Teruzuki is the only Akizuki-class lost in Iron Bottom Sound. Her wreck was found south of Savo Island. Her four 10cm HA Gun Mounts are still present as well as her Quadruple 61cm Oxygen Torpedo Launchers. Her tower and remnants of the Type 13 Radar were also intact. The only other Akizuki-class lost in the Solomons would be her sister Niizuki who was sunk at Kula Gulf.
