Introduction

爆雷に替わる新世代の対潜兵装として米国で開発された、音響ホーミング形式の対潜魚雷、そのごく初期型です。
その後、年月と様々な改良が加えられ、進化発展していきます。

This is an extremely early model acoustic homing ASW torpedo developed by the US as a next-generation ASW weapon to replace the depth charge.
After this, it would undergo many improvements over the years and continue to evolve.

Armor Penetration
Indepentant of synergies, some equipment provides additional armor penetration to ASW attacks. The affected equipment are: DCR: Type 95 DC, Type 2 DC, Lightweight ASW Torpedo, Hedgehog, Type 2 DC K2 DCP: RUR-4A Weapon Alpha Kai, Mk.32 ASW Torpedo (Mk.2 Thrower).
