投射距離や次発装填性、信頼性なども向上し、通常艦艇より海上護衛戦や対潜戦を重視した海防艦や丁型駆逐艦、一部改装夕雲型駆逐艦で高い運用性・実用性を発揮します。

A what if modified anti-submarine weapon.
This is an improved and reinforced what if version of the Type 3 depth charge projector, which was a new type of depth charge launcher that replaced the Type 94 and was equipped on modern coastal defense ships.
The projectile distance, reloadability, and reliability have also been improved, making it highly operational and practical for use in coastal defense ships, Type D destroyers, and partially remodeled Yugumo-class destroyers, which place more emphasis on maritime escort and anti-submarine warfare than conventional ships.

Armor Penetration
Indepentant of synergies, some equipment provides additional armor penetration to ASW attacks. The affected equipment are: DCR: Type 95 DC, Type 2 DC, Lightweight ASW Torpedo, Hedgehog, Type 2 DC K2 DCP: RUR-4A Weapon Alpha Kai, Mk.32 ASW Torpedo (Mk.2 Thrower).
