↑ "Sentaka" is short for "Suichuu Kousoku Sensuikan (Underwater-High-speed Submarine). It refers to the I-201-class. The character for "kou" (高) can also be read as "taka".
↑ Her nickname is a combination of "fu" (two), "rei" (zero) and "i" (one). She cuts off the last "i" so it sounds like "Furei".
↑ Her design inspired JDS Oyashio (SS-511).
↑ The only guns she carried were 25mm single machine guns that had to be dismounted before diving.
↑ This line is shared with expedition selection, resource collection, instant repair and development.

General Information

Her nickname is Furei.
She was launched on the 22nd of July 1944.
Surrendered on the 2nd of September 1945, stricken on the 30th of November 1945, and finally sunk as target on the 23rd of May 1946.
Wreck located on the 16th of February 2009 in 800 m (2625 ft) of water off Barbers Point, Oahu, Hawaii. She is in two pieces; the bow lies on its port side, neatly sheared off from the main hull, which sits upright at a 45 degree angle.
