Gameplay Notes

Coastal Defence Battleship (CDB) are a subtype of "Coastal Defense Ships" (DE), with "surface battle" stats rather than ASW stats. They:

Provide HP Modernization, Luck Modernization, or ASW Modernization,
Share the same routing as normal DE,
Cannot trigger the 2nd Shelling despite their "battleship" designation.

Special Mechanics

Can perform Closing Torpedo Salvo.
Does not have any ASW and so cannot attack any submarine.

Her abyssal form is assumed to be the Fjord Princesses and Solitary Fjord Princess.

General Information

Named after the town of Eidsvoll, where the Norwegian Constitution was written in 1814 (though Norway didn't see independence until 1905).
She was launched on the 14th of June 1900.
Sunk by German destroyers on the 9th of April 1940.

She was added on the 29th of October 2025 as Fall 2025 Event E2 drop.

Misc

She was built in the UK, launched in 1900, and operational by 1901.
During the Battle of Narvik, Norge and Eidsvold were lost during combat. Eidsvold was sunk first. The Germans contacted the captain of Eidsvold and demanded surrender, and after they refused, the Germans immediately torpedoed Eidsvold before she could fire her guns. Norge was deeper inside the fjord, and the crew heard the detonation and prepared for combat. In the darkness, they waited until they spotted German Destroyers and Norge opened fire at Z11 Bernd von Arnim. The Germans then waited and positioned themselves closer and then fired three torpedo salvoes. The first two salvoes missed but the last struck Norge in her midship resulting in her sinking in less than a minute.
In Eidsvold's voicelines, she interacts with Gotland, and during their introduction, Gotland actually claims to be the Admiral/Teitouku's childhood friend. To which Eidsvold immediately replies: "Huh? Childhood friends with the Admiral?! Stop saying such absurd things."
As an Abyssal Princess there is an allusion to what happened to the sisters. In the sequence of events in the Fall 2025 Event, it seems the roles have reversed between her and Norge. This time around Abyssal Norge is defeated first or sacrifices herself so that Abyssal Eidsvold can continue to fight on which she was unable to do in her past life. Albeit after defeating both of them in E1 and E2 respectively they revert to Kanmusu Forms.
