General Information

Her name means "Morning Sun".

Oldest Kanmusume and shipgirl in all major Ship Girl series
Fought in the Russo-Japanese War
Credited with helping sink multiple Russian Ships and participated in major battles such as Battle of the Yellow Sea and Battle of Tsushima
She was launched on the 13th of March 1899 as a Battleship.
She was remodeled as:
- A "1st-class coastal defense ship" on September 1921
- A "submarine depot ship" on the 1st of April 1923
- A "repair ship" on the 16th of August 1937
Torpedoed and sunk by USS Salmon, on the 25/26th of May 1942.

She was added on the 9th of August 2023 as Summer 2023 Event E3 drop.
In honor of her release and her seiyuu's debut in Kancolle, Satomi Akesaka uploaded a video on her youtube channel showing that her Summer Vacation 2023 plan involves diving into Kancolle. She already has made her account and her starter ship is Inazuma.
