Named after the Dace fish (carp family).
She was launched on the 25th of April 1943.
She was decommissioned on the 12th of February 1947.
She was acquired by the Italian Navy on the 31st of January 1955, as "Leonardo da Vinci" (S 510).
She was sold for scrap on the 1st of April 1975
