  • Her name is an archaic word for September, specifically the ninth month of Japan's Lunar Calendar, which is no longer in use.
  • She was launched on the 6th of October 1926.
  • Combat loss on the 7th of July 1943, at the Battle of Kula Gulf (08°02′S 157°12′E).
Update History
  • She was part of the original game's launch when the game was released on the 23rd of April 2013.
Misc
  • Her high luck (highest of the Mutsuki class) is most likely due to her not having been sunk: she was heavily damaged but managed to beach herself to avoid sinking. However, it proved impossible to repair the damage and she was later destroyed by enemy aircraft.
