Pumpkin

The Pumpkin Festival is an annually held mini-event occurring in fall for Halloween, where it is possible to obtain "Pumpkins" to then either exchange them for some special rewards, or consume them for special luck modding.

The 4th Pumpkin Festival began on the 26th of September 2025, and is scheduled to end in early November.

The 3rd Pumpkin Festival began on the 18th of October 2024, and ended on the 8th of November 2024 (22 days).

The 2nd Pumpkin Festival began on the 11th of October 2023, and ended on the 2nd of November 2023 (23 days).

The 1st Pumpkin Festival began on the 14th of October 2022, and ended on the 9th of November 2022 (27 days).

Item Description

艦娘が丹精込めて畑で栽培した国産の南瓜です。甘みも抜群で ケーキや羊羹にも最適です。
※限定任務終了で消滅します。

A home-grown pumpkin, carefully cultivated in the fields by the ship girls. It has an excellent sweetness and is ideal for cakes and yōkan.
※Will disappear with the related limited quests' end.

Luck Modding with Pumpkins

This feature is still being investigated, please do not consider this information as final.

When having Pumpkins in the inventory, a pumpkin icon will hide the normal luck icon in the ship's stat list in the Modernization panel. Clicking on it will enable Pumpkin Modernization. This will consume a Pumpkin, and improve luck in addition to whatever stats are provided by any ships being used as modernization materials.

The minimum amount of Luck provided is dependent on what modernization materials are used :

Regardless of modernization fodders, there is a chance of getting additional luck, with a maximum gain of +3 per attempt.

• Using members of the same class and/or duplicated (e.g. if modernizing Akatsuki, using Akatsuki or ships from Akatsuki class
  
  ) increases the chance of additional luck, duplicates having the better effect.
• For ships changing name or class, using the base model still works for any remodel (e.g. Taigei with all Ryuuhou remodels).
• Bug: Using 5 class members is not counted as 4+ and does not guarantee +2 luck.
