Introduction

Iowa級戦艦の主兵装として米国で開発された強力な新型三連装主砲と、その改良された射撃管制システムです。現在のFCSの先祖ともいえる射撃レーダーと砲射撃指揮装置によるシステムを有しており、その高火力と共に高い射撃精度が期待できます。

A powerful triple cannon developed by the US as the main gun of the Iowa-class battleships that has been paired with an improved fire control system. An ancestor of modern FCS, it pairs a fire control radar with a computer to achieve devastating firepower with precision accuracy.
