Introduction

米国で開発・運用された標準的な対空兵装です。本装備は、重巡や戦艦などの中型艦以上の標準的な艦隊防空用対空火力として運用されました。戦いの後期になると、より新型の両用砲に更新されていきます。

This is the standard anti-aircraft equipment developed and used by the US. It was used as the standard anti-aircraft armament on heavy cruisers, battleships and other medium-sized and greater ships. It would be upgraded to a newer model, dual-purpose gun later in the war.
