日本海軍の駆逐艦を中心として、いくつかの艦でより高い運用性を発揮します。

This is an improved piece of anti-submarine equipment.
It is an upgraded version of the main active Sonar used by the Imperial Japanese Navy.
The Type 3 Active Sonar has been improved by incorporating lessons learned in combat.
It has increased performance on several ships, particularly on destroyers of the Imperial Japanese Navy.
